Getting your reviews (Google — easiest on a computer)
- Search your business on google.com and click the number next to the stars (it says something like "46 reviews"). The reviews panel opens.
- Scroll the panel so the reviews you want are showing. Click inside the panel, select everything (Ctrl+A on Windows, Cmd+A on Mac), and copy (Ctrl+C / Cmd+C).
- Paste the whole thing into replydesk. It reads the reviews, the star ratings, and the dates — you do not reformat anything.
- Or, if you use Google's business dashboard: sign in at business.google.com, open your business, and go to Reviews. Select the reviews you want, copy, and paste into replydesk.
- On a phone (Google Maps app): open your business, tap the Reviews tab, and use the system text selection to copy the reviews you want. If selecting text on the phone is fiddly, the manual lines below always work.
Yelp
- Open your business page on Yelp and scroll to the Reviews section.
- Select everything (Ctrl+A / Cmd+A), copy (Ctrl+C / Cmd+C), and paste into replydesk.
Manual fallback (always works)
Type one review per line: the number of stars, a pipe, then the review text.

What happens next
replydesk shows "Found N reviews" — check the list. If something is missing or wrong, fix it by re-copying or use the manual lines.
Then click Draft replies. Thank-you reviews and fix-it reviews get drafts written in your own voice, checked against your tone guide — no invented facts. And anything that needs a real human (legal threats, safety claims, refund disputes, personal matters) gets no draft at all, just the reason why.
Your reviews stay yours.
You never give replydesk your Google or Yelp password — you only
paste text you can already see. Nothing is posted anywhere. Your account
lives in your browser. Your reviews go only to the drafting model
configured by the operator.
